Spring trends in 2025 - Get inspired of the top 5 trends this season
The Spring has started a little on and off, but there will be warm days coming our direction, that's for sure. Trends come and go and as a slow fashion fans we are not promoting to jump into all of them. However we can all still enjoy the trends in the collections and pick and choose what feels right to our personal style. Sometimes trends offer you also an opportunity to find something you have been looking in stores which is normally not so easy to find. For example a special colour or model. This way you can score items which are an asset in your wardrobe for a longer time.
1. BUTTER YELLOW MELTS HEARTS
A trend colour this season is definitely the fresh light yellows. This colour brings Spring to your style right away. Yellow can be a difficult colour if you have a cooler tone on your skin, but there is now many options in stores also for cooler skintones. So even if you have a rather pale or pink coloured skin, give it a try if you are looking for some new pastels this season.
You can pair the yellow with a neutral colour or denims. You could try it with white or some light browns, or navy.
To let the yellow pop, try it with contrasting purples, like violet, lavendel or a deeper purple.
Otherwise you could keep it more tuned down with combining it with greens, like sage, or khaki. This gives a more calm image.
2. PASTELS SHINE BRIGHT THIS SPRING
Not only pale yellows but also other pastel colours are hip this Spring. You can really find a lot of variety of light colours this Spring, so you are in luck if you love to wear lighter colours and find something else than white.
It is easy to incorporate pastels in your styles and you get directly a fresh look after the darker winter clothing.
An obvious way to combine pastels is to combine them with your neutral colours, from black to white, from brown to navy. For example light blue looks often very fresh and stylish with brown. Pink you could combine with grey or taupe.
Otherwise a very harmonious way is to throw in a darker version of your pastel. Combine sage with olive, pink with burgundy, or light blue with navy.
Blue denim or indigo denim goes also nice with all pastels.
If you love light colours, white is also an obvious choice for Spring or summer.

3. MOCHA MOUSSE AND BROWNS RULE
Pantone selected mocha mousse as colour of the year, which partly shocked the fashion world, as such a soft neutral colour has not been used to be seen as a colour of the year. However browns are truly trending this season and they bring some warmth and connection to nature in these uncertain times.
The brown and undyed tones you can easily adapt to your style. You can combine them from pastels to outspoken colours, even neons.
To keep it more natural go with other neutral colours, another hue of brown, black, navy.
What we love in this trend is that these colours will be easy to use any year, any season. And we know already brown is a huge hit in the Autumn too.

Breton stripes and navy stay popular this season. This trend hardly goes away in the Spring or Summer season, so also in 2025 stripes are relevant.
These colours have a little more contrast then other trends presented here and you can also combine them with a little more vibrant colours: think or pure classic red or white. Why not also grass green or cobalt.
More subtle combinations you can make with black or white.

Brat green was a trend last year and we see the influence this Spring and Summer season too. The colours are maybe a tiny bit softened compared to 2024, but they remain anyhow very bright.
