Turning 30 Mariah found out that she was developing cervical cancer. In search of ways to support her health she met a specialist who advised her to start using organic cotton tampons and pads. Organic cotton?
Together with Wendelien they started to do some research. They found out that most tampons and pads currently on the shelves include ingredients they shouldn’t and that these products fall under general EU product regulation. This means that there are no specific rules on what’s allowed in the products but also not about what should or should not be mentioned on the packaging!
Strange and shocking considering these are products that most women use monthly near or in one of the most absorbent parts of their body.
