Spring clean your style and closet - follow the tips of Anne, Supergoods & WOW colours founder
The new collections are coming to the stores and with the warmer weather we will transfer to the Spring season. Is your closet Spring proof? With these tips you can make sure you have some ace outfits for the coming months.

Empty your closet, on your bed or on the floor and make piles: keep, repair, sell, donate, recycle. Add a pile for items you are not sure of. Put them in a separate box and if you miss them take them out for use. If you did not miss the item in some months, maybe you can find a new owner for the piece. Tip: you can bring your mistake purchases to Supergoods Mechelen or Supergoods Antwerp and sell them as part of our AS GOOD AS NEW collection.
- Take care of storaged clothing items. Swap seasonal items and store away heavy winter clothing in storage bags or boxes. Take out your storaged spring and summer items and air them out or use a fabric steamer to freshen them up. Use a lint brush or fabric shaver to remove excess lint and dust.

Make sure all items that need repairing to fit will be dealt with by you, a local atelier or a handy pair of hands in the family. Do not postpone this task too long!
- Do you see clear gaps in what you have? Make a shopping list and stick to it while shopping. Take your time filling the list, it will not have to be at once.

Make sure all items can be used for several combinations. If this is difficult, invest in some neutral colours which will combine with the pieces you will have.
- Try something new: if you never wear a blazer, give it a try. Are you not wearing a blouse, maybe test some models in your favourite colours. Try a new fit of trousers, we are happy to help in our stores.
- Update your coats, shoes or accessories if necessary. Keep in mind your lifestyle, and your personal taste - get an item which is both practical and which you love to wear.
- Check the stores with your wish list early on in the season, the industry secret is that the most common sizes in the most popular fits sell quickly and often cannot be restocked. If your wish list has some very specific items in not that common colours, this is even more important.
