#fashrev week 20-24 April

Fashion Revolution Week is the #whomademyclothes campaign in April, which falls on the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, which killed 1138 people and injured many more on 24th April 2013. That is the day Fashion Revolution was born. During this week, brands and producers are encouraged to respond with the hashtag #imadeyourclothes and to demonstrate transparency in their supply chain.

We at Supergoods will use this week to present the change makers of fashion, working to create new more equal relations in fashion from the materials all the way to the after-use service of their clients.

Never before was change needed more than now, as many textile workers have lost their jobs or their pay was freezed due to cancellations of orders by the fast fashion brands in March, due to Cover-19 crisis all around the world. Our sympathy is by the workers now of whom many compromise their own safety and demonstrate for their rights in Bangladesh, India and other countries hit hard by the economical halt of the retail.

You can join the #fashrev this week by contacting your favourite brands or other brands to answer all your questions about the production or workers' rights. Ask #whomademyclothes and tag your favourite brand or send them an email.

Find out more, share the materials.
