    HOW TO

    To load or change the blade: unscrew the handle from the head by twisting it anti-clockwise. Insert the blade between the two parts that form the head. Screw everything back together. Tighten it. You will see that the blade is curving: this is what we are into for a non-aggressive shave.

    To shave: wait the end of a shower so your skin and hairs are soften. Apply shaving cream, soap or oil. Apply short strokes while holding the razor at 30°. If it's your first time using a safety razor, we would advise you to apply absolutely no pressure, using only the weight of the razor. You will learn gradually the amount of pressure you can apply to get the perfect shave according to your skin - but it will be far less pressure than what you are used to apply with a plastic razor. This is the reason why we prefer to say "no pressure at all" for the first shave.

    After shaving: pat dry your skin, rinse the razor under the water stream (with a little bit of soap if you prefer) and leave it to dry outside the shower or water stream to get most of its lifetime potential. Keep it disassembled or avoid leaving a blade inside for extended time to avoid oxydation of the blade.

     

    CARE INSTRUCTIONS

    Thoroughly rinse every part inside and out after shaving to get rid of any shaving soap or hair. Slightly untwist the handle to let water runs everywhere around the blade. Allow both razor and blade to dry before re-loading or even better, keep your razor disassembled or unloaded. Avoid leaving a dirty or moist blade inside your razor as this will cause an oxydation of the blade.

    A safety razor can last a very long time when it's taken well care of. It doesn’t mean that it will survive all drops, shocks and misuse.

    Depending of the colour you chose, you will have a different results on the long term. The matte finishes (rose gold, black, white) are the softer coatings and are more likely to show wear and tear over time. The rose gold and black finishes are made by electroplating, which means that the colour is fused with the metal and can’t chip, unlike the white which needs more TLC. The Rose Gold tint is produced using copper which has a natural tendency to patina over time. The chrome finish is harder and thus more resilient overall. All these are questions of aesthetics however, and will not affect how your razor works.

    We work with a human-sized workshop of 18 people in China that we have visited ourselves, and which is audited BSCI (the most renowned reference in term of working conditions).




    Bareaya is a brand committed to provide a sustainable alternative to disposable razors. Run by French eco-advocate Marjorie, Bareaya was founded in 2018 and is currently based in Hong Kong. 

    Whether it’s a disposable razor or a cartridge-head system, plastic razors are used as a commodity for a short period of time and thrown away by BILLIONS each year. They are NOT RECYCLABLE because they are made of a mix of materials. Because they are not meant to last, they are built out of cheap materials that lower their efficiency. The multiple-blade system tries to make up for that lack of sharpness by providing the equivalent of several strokes in one go. This can drag skin cells along the way, which causes a lot of irritations, aka RAZOR BURNS. It also aims to provide a close shave by pulling and cutting the hair below the skin levels rather than above, which can result in ingrown hairs, aka RAZOR BUMPS. 

    On the long run, paying overpriced products that harm both the environment and the skin simply doesn’t make sense.

    We ship to all EU countries. We use RePack packaging, which is reusable. That means that, under a certain amount, a packaging fee will be charged. In any case, you will receive 300 points on your Good Vibes Club account after you return the RePack packaging, which is free of charge. This is a win-win situation for you and the environment.     Shipping is free to Belgium and The Netherlands from €99. The shipping is free to Luxemburg, Germany, France and Italy when the order is over €149. For most other EU countries, shipping is free from €249.

    We prefer shipping only within the EU continent. Shipping any further becomes unsustainable very quickly, especially when returns are involved. So we try to avoid that.

    RePack packaging can be returned from all ovr the world. Feel free to contact us for the shipping rates to your country.

    Gift vouchers are delivered always for free.  Pick up at the shop is also free.

    How quick do you deliver?

    In Belgium delivery times are normally 1 to 4 working days. International orders will take a bit more time, normally 5-10 days in EU. For express delivery, please contact us beforehand about express delivery shipping rates.

    Can I return an order?

    If you are unhappy with the product you ordered online via the webshop, you can return it. For all return/exchange requests for the webshop orders, contact us via info@supergoods.be or +32(0)486341255, and return your item within 14 days from receiving your order.

    You can return your webshop order free of charge in our stores in Mechelen, Ghent or Antwerp. Otherwise you can send your items in the RePack, with a post label. The shipping cost is for the client, so you can use post or any other shipping option of your choice. Send your item(s) to: Supergoods webshop, Onze-Lieve-Vrouwestraat 116, B-2800 Mechelen. All other shipping costs, such as customs fees for the returns are to be paid by the customer and will not be refunded.

    No refunds or exchanges will be given for packages returned later than 2 weeks after receiving the order.

    The right for return applies to our webshop orders, not for purchase made in our stores, where we offer exchange for presents and exchange in some other particular cases, in the cases of exchange in the stores please contact us as soon as possible, preferably during a few days after your purchase or after receiving a gift.

    Returns and exchanges are only accepted when the product and the packaging is sent back in its original state.
